TERMS & CONDITIONS

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS. By booking, accessing or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any updates or changes. If you do not agree to the Terms, you should discontinue your use of our website.

Appointments

All appointments must be booked through the booking system by visiting www.salonherinc.com website or a booking link provided by your stylist. A reminder email will be sent to you 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. This email will include additional information needed for your appointment such as salon location and parking information.

Arrival
Please arrive to your appointment 5 -10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time ready to be serviced. If for any reason you must leave once you have arrived at your scheduled appointment, you will then be considered late and will be subject to the Late Arrival terms and conditions.

Late Arrivals
A late arrival is anyone that does not show up to their appointment at their scheduled time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be cancelled or rescheduled at the discretion of your stylist. This cancellation is based upon availability. If you are late and your stylist do not have the availability to perform your service that day, your appointment will be cancelled and/or rescheduled based upon availability. If your appointment is rescheduled, an additional non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your appointment. If your stylist is available to service you after you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, you will be charged a $15 late fee. Please remember, if you are late, your tardiness will cause every other client scheduled after you not to be serviced on time.

Deposits
We require a non-refundable deposit to secure all appointment. Deposit amount is based upon the cost of the service. No appointment will be secured or scheduled without a deposit. All deposits are Non-refundable and Non-transferable.

 

Deposits can only be applied towards original scheduled service at the time of booking. You cannot transfer a deposit to another client or service. All payments towards an appointment are considered a non-refundable deposit. The non-refundable deposit will be deducted from the cost of your final completed service at the time of checkout.

Additional Guests

Additional guest(s) are not allowed at the time of your appointment. Please arrive to your appointment alone. For clients under the age of 17, one parent or accompanying adult over the age of 18 is permitted and will wait in designated areas only. We pride ourselves on creating a safe space that our clients and minor clients can relax and enjoy their hair experience.

Service Refusal/Termination
Salon Her Inc. at its discretion, reserve the right to refuse/terminate service to anyone that displays (but not limited to) disruptive, rude and destructive behaviors, violate salon rules, threatens the safety of others, harassment, use of profanity, late arrivals, no shows, refusal to pay, refusal to follow directions, intoxication, lack of hygiene, any scalp/skin conditions, poor hair quality and habitual appointment cancellations.

Cancellations
Cancellations for any reason will result in the forfeiture of all deposits made. Salon Her Inc. will work hard to reschedule your appointment(s) for your desired dates; however, this is not guaranteed. Salon Her Inc. reserve the right to cancel any scheduled appointment that does not align with the rules, terms and conditions of Salon Her Inc.

Pricing

All prices listed or quoted are starting prices. Final price of service(s) may increase based on (but not limited to) additional services needed/ added, hair length, hair texture and incorrect/incomplete service selection during booking. We highly recommend booking an in-person or virtual consultation before booking your appointment to receive final pricing.

Changes to Terms and Conditions
Salon Her Inc. reserves the right at its discretion to change, modify or delete any terms and conditions wherein at any time. We encourage you to get familiar with the terms and conditions and visit periodically to stay informed of our updates. The most current term and conditions supersedes all previous versions.

Children / Little Clients
Although we love the kids, we require that kids are at least 8 years of age, well behaved and can comprehend and abide by basic commands. Because we are a hair salon, and are surrounded by hair tools, the safety of all our clients especially our little clients are top priority.

We do not offer a kid’s price menu. Kids pay the same prices as an adult.

Outside Food or Drink
No outside food or drink are allowed. However, you may bring your Yeti or Stanley cup with a tight-fitting non spill lid. Salon Her Inc. provides limited complimentary refreshments for your enjoyment during your appointment.

Payment Types
Debit, Credit and Cash are all acceptable forms of payment. No other form of payment is accepted. A service fee may be charged for all credit card payments.

Refunds/Returns
Due to the artistic nature of what we do, we cannot offer refunds on services performed. However, we will do our absolute best to ensure you are satisfied. Salon Her Inc. stands behind all its products. Should you find dissatisfaction with any hair products purchased at Salon Her Inc., please return the remaining unused product within 30 days of purchase and receive the full value towards another product of your choice. All Sales of hairbrushes, combs, hair accessories (clips, bands, etc.), extensions, and wigs are final. No returns, refunds or exchanges.

Performance
We the stylists at Salon Her Inc. are constantly educated ourselves on technique, new trends and products. Salon Her Inc. stands firmly behind all its salon services. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your service, please contact us immediately so we can remedy the situation. We are happy to offer service adjustments within one week of your appointment date. However, please be aware that we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who exhibits challenging behavior(s).

Disclaimer of Results
Please note that while our stylists are highly trained, we cannot guarantee the exact outcome of any service. Your hair's unique characteristics and history with color and chemical treatments can affect the desired result. The longevity and vibrancy of your color are also dependent on your home care routine. All services are provided without any express or implied warranties.

Consultation
Consultation fees are non-refundable and total amount of the consultation is required when booking. Consultation fees are not credited towards any service. To ensure we can address all your hair service questions or provide thorough clarification during booking, a consultation may be recommended.

Extensions
All extensions must be ordered through www.hairlanguage.com at least three (3) weeks prior to your installation appointment. We guarantee the quality of extensions Hair-Language provides and need this time frame for shipping and prepping. If, for any reason shipping is delayed, your appointment will be rescheduled, and your deposit will be reapplied. This is the only time a deposit is reapplied. No refunds, returns or exchanges on extensions and extension services. Refer to our Shipping Policy for detailed information on shipping times.

Parking
Parking is available between Hiawassee Drive and the neighboring apartments. Please use a regular parking space, and do not park in reserved or 2-hour parking zones in or near parking lot or surrounding property.

Violators will be towed.

Towing: Any vehicle found in violation of this parking policy is subject to immediate towing at the vehicle owner's sole expense and risk. The owner assumes all responsibility for any fees, damages, or costs associated with the towing and retrieval of the vehicle. Management is not responsible for notifying the vehicle owner prior to towing.

Vehicle Condition: Only vehicles in good operating condition and with a current and valid tag/registration may be parked on the property. Leaking fluids, inoperative vehicles, or vehicles deemed a hazard by management are prohibited.

Traveling Clients

Planning Your Travel
To avoid travel conflicts, we strongly advise against booking an arrival and/or return flight for the same day as your appointment. Our service times are estimates and can vary significantly based on factors like hair density, length, and the number of services you are receiving. Some appointments may take up to 8 hours or longer to complete, so we cannot guarantee a specific completion time.

By booking a flight on the same day as your appointment, you do so at your own risk. Salon Her Inc. and our associates will not be held responsible for any missed flights or related financial loss. We will not make changes or adjustments to your appointment or final look due to accommodate travel plans.

Travel Appointment

We understand that travel can be unpredictable, but we kindly ask that you plan to arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in your appointment being rescheduled or canceled. If this occurs, you will lose your deposit and be responsible for the remaining balance of your service.
To ensure we can provide every client with their full booked service, we cannot remove or adjust a service at the time of your appointment to accommodate travel plans. You will still be charged for the full service booked. We reserve the right to refuse service if a scheduling conflict prevents us from properly completing your service(s) during your appointment.

Price Modifications
Prices for our services and products (including all extensions, closures & wigs) can change without prior notice. We may modify or stop offering any service or product (or any part of it) at any time without notice. 
We won't be liable to you or any third party for any price change, modification, suspension, or discontinuation of a service or product.

Electronic Communications

Sending and receiving emails from certified Salon Her Inc. email addresses and visiting www.salonherinc.com, www.hairlanguage.com, booking.kendraalia@gmail.com, and submissions.shi@gmail.com constitutes electronic communications. I consent to receive electronic communications from all certified communication sites, and I also agree that all agreements, notices, and disclosures provided to me electronically via the certified emails listed above are binding communications.

Waiver and Release of Liability

  1. Acknowledgment of Risks
    By booking and receiving services from Salon Her Inc, (the "Salon"), you, the client, acknowledge and agree to the inherent risks associated with hair and skin treatments. These risks include, but are not limited to, potential for allergic reactions, skin irritation, burns, hair damage, or other unforeseen side effects from chemical processes, dyes, and tools used during the service.

  2. Client Responsibility
    You agree to provide a complete and accurate health history and to disclose any pre-existing conditions, allergies, or sensitivities to your stylist prior to the start of any service. This includes any history of reactions to hair products, dyes, or other chemicals. You understand that your failure to disclose such information may increase the risk of an adverse reaction or an undesirable outcome.

  3. Release of Liability
    In consideration for receiving services from the Salon, you, for yourself, your heirs, personal representatives, and assigns, hereby release, waive, and discharge the Salon, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising from or related to any injury, allergy, or adverse reaction you may sufferer as a result of the services provided, regardless of cause. This release includes any claim for negligence, gross negligence, or any other theory of recovery, except for claims arising from the intentional or willful misconduct of the Salon or its employees.

  4. Acceptance of Terms
    You agree that by receiving services at our salon, you have read and fully understand this Waiver and Release of Liability. You voluntarily accept these terms and agree to be bound by them.
